About Vagabod
The world's most useful directory for travellers who don't want to skip the gym.
Vagabod started from a simple frustration: arriving in a new city, wanting to train, and spending an hour Googling gym prices only to show up and find the info was wrong, the day pass required a sales consultation, or the “flexible membership” meant a 12-month contract.
We built Vagabod to solve that. One place where you can find every gym that genuinely welcomes short-stay visitors — with real prices, real policies, and community-verified accuracy.
Worldwide coverage
Gyms across 19 countries and growing, with a focus on digital nomad hubs and major travel destinations.
Verified information
Our team contacts every gym directly to confirm pricing. Community members flag outdated info.
Community-powered
Real reviews from real travellers who have trained there. No fake reviews, no hidden incentives.
Built for nomads
We're digital nomads ourselves. We built the tool we always wished existed.
Our mission
Make it frictionless for anyone to stay active while travelling. Whether you're in Bangkok for a week, spending a month in Lisbon, or doing a 3-month stint in Bali — you should be able to find a gym that fits your schedule, budget, and training style in minutes, not hours.
How we verify gyms
Every new listing goes through our verification process. We reach out to the gym directly via email or phone to confirm:
- Current day pass, weekly, and monthly pricing
- Whether walk-in visitors are genuinely welcome
- Opening hours and any seasonal changes
- Amenities and equipment available
Verified gyms are marked with a badge. Unverified listings are submitted by community members and may be less accurate — always confirm at reception.
Add a gym
Know a gym that should be listed? We rely on the community to help us grow. If your gym (or a gym you've visited) welcomes short-term memberships, submit it — it only takes a few minutes.
